Recipe

Crusted Seared Tuna with Sweet Soy-Lime Vinaigrette

Salt-Free Asian Seasoning offers the flavor of an authentic Asian condiment without salt. We

balanced sweet sesame flavors with the subtle heat of chiles, the kick of wasabi and ginger and the

umami-rich flavor of nori.

2 ahi tuna steaks, thick, 6-8 ounces each

2 tablespoons Salt-Free Asian Seasoning

2 tablespoon canola oil, divided

1 tablespoon sesame oil

2 limes, juiced

2 teaspoon soy sauce

2 teaspoon honey

Whisk the honey, soy sauce and lime juice together and slowly whisk in the seame oil and 1

tablespoon of canola oil. Set this vinaigrette aside.

Heat a skillet to high. Put the Salt-Free Asian Seasoning on a plate and dredge the tuna steaks in it

on both sides.

Add the remaining canola oil to the hot pan and carefully place both tuna steaks in the oil. Sear the

first side for 30 seconds and turn the steaks, sear the other side for 30 seconds to 1 minute

depending on preference.

Remove the tuna and allow it cool for 5 minutes then slice.

Serve with the vinaigrette.
