Recipe
Spicy Pizza Sauce
1 (28-ounce) can tomato puree
1 (28-ounce) can crushed tomatoes
2 cloves garlic, minced
4 leaves basil, chopped
2 springs oregano, chopped
1 tablespoon Extra Hot Crushed Red Pepper
Kosher salt
Black pepper
3 tablespoons olive oil
Place tomatoes, garlic, basil, oregano and Extra Hot Crushed Red Pepper in a large saucepan. Season
with salt and pepper and bring to a boil over medium-high heat.
Reduce heat and simmer, allowing flavors to combine.
Stir olive oil into sauce.
Makes enough for 2 large pizzas
